- I have a simular proble. My access to server varies from 19. to 26.4,
- depending on time and handshake with other computer. The 26.4 is very
- good, that is a 5% loss, probally due to line noise. A 28.8 access is
- possible BUT I understand you and the server MUST be on fiber optics
- lines. I am trying another server this month and running a comparison!
- I question there explaination as to AT&T fault, I also use AOL and
- connect everytime at 26.4. So I will see. The downloading time and
- access times to sites can be very slow at times. One advantage on AOL
- is speed online, but the cost vs time is highly questionable! I
- believe the answer will come with higher speed modems and dedicated
- line at 128. We shall see in the near future! jb
